Frequently asked questions
Getting in
I was a member before — where's my profile?
Still here. Profiles, portfolios and forum history were carried across from the old site. Passwords were deliberately not carried across, so you set a new one: claim your account using the email address or username you had before, and we'll email you a link.
Why does it ask for a code every time I sign in?
Signing in needs two things: your password, and a 6-digit code we email you. That way a stolen password on its own isn't enough to get into your account. Once you've entered a code, we remember that device for 90 days and won't ask again until then.
I can't get the emailed code.
Use one of your recovery codes instead — you were shown ten of them when your account was set up, and each works once. If you've lost those too, contact us and we'll help.
I forgot my password.
Reset it here. The link we email is good for a short while.
Your profile and photos
How many photos can I upload?
It depends on your membership:
- New User — up to 1 photo
- Bronze — up to 20 photos
- Silver — up to 30 photos
- Gold — up to 50 photos
- Platinum — up to 100 photos
- Diamond — up to 200 photos
Which photo shows as my cover?
The first one in your gallery. On your profile you can reorder photos or use "Set as cover" to move one to the front.
Can I upload a résumé?
Yes — PDF, DOC or DOCX. Every résumé is converted and cleaned server-side before it's stored, so nothing executable can ride along in the file. Only signed-in members can view it.
Do I have to use feet and inches?
No. Pick metric or imperial in Settings — measurements are shown in whichever you prefer, whoever entered them.
Finding people and work
How do I find people near me?
On Discover, pick a country, enter a postal code and a radius. Add your own country and postal code to your profile so others can find you the same way — and so "use my location" works. We can place codes for the US, UK, Canada, Australia and 22 other countries; outside those, near-me won't find you, but every other search still will.
Can I save searches and people?
Yes. Name any search to re-run it later, keep a private shortlist of members, and bookmark photos from Explore. All of it lives on Saved, and only you can see it.
Who can post a casting call?
Silver members and above. Browsing and applying are open to every member.
Messages and chat
What's the difference between messages and chat?
Messages is your on-site mailbox — it works whether or not the other person is around. Chat is live, and only with members who are online right now. Starting a chat is a Silver-and-above feature; replying to one isn't.
Someone is bothering me.
Block them from their profile — it's immediate and stops contact in both directions. You can also report a profile, photo or forum post; several reports on the same thing hide it automatically while it's reviewed. Manage blocks in Settings.
Privacy and membership
Can people see that I looked at their profile?
Profile views are counted, and members on a paid plan can see who viewed them. Higher tiers can browse anonymously — the visit still counts toward the other person's total but your name isn't shown. The setting is in Settings.
What can logged-out visitors see?
Very little by design — a small featured selection, and nothing else. Profiles, the directory, Explore and the forum are all members-only.
How do payments work?
Through PayPal. Card details are never entered on this site and we don't store them. See Membership for what each plan includes.
How old do I have to be?
18 or over. PremierModels is an adults-only community — we ask for your date of birth when you register, and when you claim an account carried over from the old site. Under-18s can't join.
I think a member is under 18.
Please tell us. Use Report on their profile and choose Under 18 — that goes straight to the top of our review queue. You can also email help@premiermodels.com. Age is self-declared at signup, so a member noticing is often how we find out.
Is adult content allowed?
No. Nudity and adult material can't be posted, and none was carried over from the old site.
