KYM [11/11/2008 2:42:36 PM] : Please notice (Forums-Scam Alert) that Coed Productions has been removed from PremierModels by our webmaster!!! Thank you. It's good to know that he is watching out for us.
CYRENA [11/5/2008 9:59:29 AM] : He told me and I went through the same stuff but he did his emails on seperate day. I bought a plane ticket and 2 days before I was suppose to go he told me I had to cancel my plane ticket because he was really sick. Don't go with this man. I have proof if you don't believe me/
STEPHANIE LAVERGNE [10/25/2008 12:17:17 AM] : Hey Girls How are you? I have some information for you about Dan Vincent. He is a fraud. I do not believe he is a producer, agency or whatever he claims to be to anyone else. He told me he had a lead role in a movie for me (being picked up by dreamworks) and wanted me to go meet him NYC and that he would pay for everything once I got there. Of course, I did not accept as something seemed strange. With that, he said he'd give me the part in the movie (paying 100 000$US) if I would send him some booty or cleavage shots. He said if I did so he would send the contract over ASAP. Being a model/actress in the industry, I know work is not done that way. However, I did ask him references. He gave me 2 names and e-mail addresses. I did not hear from them until 2 weeks later, both of them. And both of their e-mails were sent 5 minutes apart, which is extremely strange and fake. So, I would say please do not believe anything he says or fly out anywhere he may ask you to meet him. Please listen to my advice and please be careful. He says he is a reputable producer and works with and parties with many stars, yet he has no website or professional contacts, e-mail addresses ect. And for all other models out there, please do not believe or try to get work with Dan from Coed. If you need to know anythng more, please feel free to message me. I have reported him to the webmaster and hopefully, other models will follow. Thanks. Best of Luck!
KYM [10/24/2008 1:54:39 PM] : Good advice, Nancy, & thanks for replying. .:KYM:. is "in" on all her correspondance and offers and is integral in making decisions concerning her career. She's extremely wise for her age and we realize that in just over a year she'll be able to make decisions on her own without my advice. I want her to be able to make the RIGHT choices. She also has a co-manager who is a cop/photog with an abundance of legal training. He has spotted every con that has come our way!!! We are very blessed to have found Gary from Axena Productions to help .:KYM:. in her ambitions.
SABRINA L [10/12/2008 9:31:50 PM] : My daughter, who is 17, was contacted by this same person, asking if she'd like to go to NYC to do a calendar shoot. When I questioned what kind of shoot he told me it was all "classy, nothing sheer or nude". He asked if going to NYC would be a problem. I told him that no, it wouldn't be, provided that the shoot was age-appropriate, and that all expenses would be paid for Sabrina & myself. Strangely enuf, I haven't gotten a reply back from him after that. Everyone, please, please use extreme caution when responding to these kind of solicitations, particularly if you are young & inexperienced. I actually answer all my daughter's emails, rather than having her do that. Usually just getting a reply from a "mom" is enuf to chase away anyone with questionable intentions. So far, we've only actually worked with photogs who were very honest, hard-working, reputable people, and none have tried to take advantage of the fact that Sabrina is young. However, I know of several actual situations where models have been beaten, and even raped, by photogs. No matter your age, always, always take someone with you on shoots, if for no other reason than to protect your reputation, as well as that of the photog. If a photog tells you that you don't "need" to have a chaperone, then you really don't "need" to shoot with them. If you're underage, the law requires that a parent or guardian be within eyesight of you when you are shooting, not just in the same building somewhere. Always ere on the side of caution & safety; it's never worth it to put yourself at risk, esp when there are so many other opportunities out there just waiting for you! Checking with models who have previously shot with them is also a good idea, and reputable photogs have no problem about you doing that. As someone else already said - Be Safe! Nancy
ANNAMARIE [10/4/2008 8:21:11 PM] : Hi I also say Please Be Careful. I try not to go anywhere alone. It is very scary out there for us girls. I have heard horror stories that some girls have gone through from some photographers throughout the U.S.. Please always bring an escort and if they say "No escort" then don't go. Keep a cell phone handy also. Most model sites always have a warning about going to auditions and the such alone. On an uplifting note, the majority of people out there are very nice, just keep eyes open and clothes on. Auditions should never include nudity even if the part is for nudity. In this business you can have real fun, just be cautious. Thank God Premier Models has a great forum like this one. Makes us all feel better. Good luck.
KYM [10/1/2008 7:21:17 AM] : Yes, he sent us 2 pics of an attractive male model also. You sound like a wise girl but I still have to say...."Be careful out there!" Get it in writing up front & bring an escort. God bless you.
JULIE MICHELLE [9/29/2008 4:28:06 PM] : I also came to the forum when trying to do a search on "coedproductions" Did Brian/Dan send you guys any supposed pictures of himself?? He sent a couple of pictures of a male model who is supposed to be him....I don't know if it is or not....He was taking to me about a project in NYC and when I asked him about travel expenses he said that since models tend to flake on them that they don't pay for your flight until you get there so you have to front the cash...I said no go on that...I don't know how legit he is...now he is saying something can be worked out...As a model I am always skeptical....I will always bring someone with me and will always believe it when I see it...I will keep you all posted on what goes down....If anyone wants to chat about this or whatever...shoot me an email
AMI [9/27/2008 12:43:17 PM] : This alone would cancel him out in my book: "next time we talked he said he would try to get her into a club party in NY as his girlfriend and she wouldn't need another chaperone, knowing full well that she is only 16." also I have noticed that guys who want things you arent offering tend to try and distract you with glamours stories, like limos, and partys, and clubs, and calender shoots, and trips to mansions....
SOMETHINGANGELIC [9/27/2008 2:15:19 AM] : Hey, My name is Cheryl and Im rather new to Premier Models, but have been modeling for awhile. I have something to add if you all don't mind,I just recieved an email from Coed Productions this evening...without realizing I responded and asked a few question(doesnt hurt I thought) after I typed in Coed Productions(on yahoo) to see if there was a site to look at. And it brought me here to the forums...Kind of funny isnt it and I read what you all were saying. Plus looked at his portfolio oh wait it wasnt much of one! haha in other words I think to stay away from them...Ill be sure to fill you in if I recieve an email back! Thanks because Im glad I was brought here before even concidering!
KYM [9/15/2008 11:25:50 PM] : Thank you for your reply Jessica. I suggested that Kym's brother escort her to the club, (it was supposed to be a gathering of NY's top names in the business,) but when Brian/Dan replied he wasn't necessary I really grew suspicious!! Glad I didn't persue that lead!!! All the best to you, Jessica, in your persuits.
90HEATHER90 [3/5/2008 5:22:40 AM] : I'm Cheryl....90Heather90's mom and I agree with you Ginger...Dani Marie's mom...Keep a watchful eye out for those creeps!! We haven't been doing this online modeling thing very long and already have run into people after something other than helping the model. Heather doesn't see everything and I have had to ignore a lot of IMs from men photographers who think I'm Heather. If that isn't bad enough there are cruel kids who want to hurt her feelings and say mean things from Yahoo groups. I do let her see some of that because she needs to be prepared for that jealous peer group. When she starts getting assignments and the word gets out in her school....I'm sure she will run into the same problem there. So far she handles that type of rejection well and without being upset....just angry. Cheryl
KYM [ 9/12/2008 10:18:32 AM ] : This is not intended to ruin anyone's reputation, I'm just curious if anyone has any info. I am 16 yr old Kym's mother and am concerned about information gathered regarding Coed Productions. We were first contacted by someone stating he was Brian Vincent, president of Coed Productions. Suspicions were raised during AIM conversations with him. He invited Kym to go in a stretch party limo to Atlantic City for a calendar shoot, next time we talked he said he would try to get her into a club party in NY as his girlfriend and she wouldn't need another chaperone, knowing full well that she is only 16. During last night's conversation he said his name was Dan. I asked him what his site # was on Premier and he said he didn't remember, that he hardly ever goes there anymore. I looked up his original email to us, got his site # and found out that he had been to his site that day!!! I'd like to know why he lied to me and if anyone has had any shoots with him.
