Blog : Models / Models Seeking Advice

LINDSAY [9/7/2008 4:47:29 PM] : I have found something similar - you know what I think it is - they are looking for very nieve girls. My response to a paid job offer always includes the following 3/4 questions. A) What will the pictures be used for? B) Please give me 3 references of models you have worked with before? C)Can I bring accompaniment with me on set? and finally D)Are you providing a make-up artist - this really helps clear everything up - and leaves little room for risky situations - however - some people find what I call professionallism, and what they would encounter at a legitimate agency - too much. Like by asking those questions I suddenly become high-maintanence and not worth their time. What is the deal?!?!
MARISSA [ 8/18/2008 10:28:17 AM ] : Is anyone else sick of this? I get e-mails offering me paid jobs for projects and to reply right away if interested. I reply, and don't hear back from them at all or for weeks. How are we supposed to take job offers seriously when no one returns our e-mails?? Or they offer a job and then ask where you live when it's right in the profile. Obviously if you live too far away, they can't cover expenses. How frusterating! Anyone else dealing with similar lack of professionalism??
