| NIKKI LOVE [ 2/15/2008 10:02:31 AM ] : hey everyone. i am located in the chicago area and am in the process of putting together a party for artist. models, actors, photographers, makeup artists, stylists, and agents. i have been talking to this one club in the downtown area, where we can have their space for a few hours and everybody bring their portfolios and business cards (and a little cash) and just network. relax, have a drink, and discuss the industry. get work, pass out cards, and basically make more contacts. so before i start dishing out a lot of money to host this thing, i was just wondering about you guys responses, good idea or no?? thanks and stay blessed nikki |
